Allegany State Park - Quaker
We have added pictures and reviews for a lot of the campsites and also some cabins at Allegany State Park - Quaker area to www.MyCampsiteReviews.com . This is a beautiful park with a lot of great scenery, hiking and biking. We enjoyed checking out some of the cabins on our visit. There are some great spots along the creek. The covered front porches on some of them overlook the creek. The cabins are quite rustic in this area, but the setting in the woods alongside the creek is awesome.
Allegany State Park - Redhouse
We have added pictures and reviews for a lot of the campsites at Allegany State Park Redhouse area to www.MyCampsiteReviews.com . Boasted as the largest park in the NYS Park system with 65000 acres, there is abundant history, hiking and biking. The Redhouse area has 5 miles of paved bike paths. We visited during peak foliage season and the scenery was magnificant.

Taughannock Falls NY Campground Sites Added
We added pictures and reviews for all the campsites at Taughannock Falls campground to www.MyCampsiteReviews.com. This park has the highest falls (215 ft drop) east of the Rocky Mountains. There is great hiking along, and in, the gorge.
The campground has some really nice campsites, but you'll want to make sure you check out the reviews to get a good one.
Please give me your opinions on the campground and our website.

Watkins Glen NY Campground Sites Added
We've added pictures and reviews for the majority of the campsites at Watkins Glen New York Campground to www.MyCampsiteReviews.com. This is a nice campground located right next to the gorge. You can hike right from your campsite. This campground is also not far from the race track.
When we first got there, the campsite we booked online was terrible (small and next to a public area)! Luckily, we were able to move to a very nice large wooded site. This is why we need www.MyCampsiteReviews.com!
Please check it out and let me know what you think.

Evangola NY Campground Sites Added
We added pictures and reviews for all the campsites at the Evangola New York campground to http://www.mycampsitereviews.com/. This is a great campground located right on the shore of Lake Erie. The are many sites with a view of the lake and a nearby beach. Please note, however, that the campsites do not have access to the lake.
Take a look at these reviews and let me know what you think.

Why we created MyCampsiteReviews.com
My family and I have been avid campers for many years. Whenever we would camp at a new campground, we would read reviews of the campground to make sure we were going to a great place for us.
The problem was, until we went there once, we wouldn't know which sites at the campground were good and which were bad. My experience is that every campground, even the best ones, have some really bad sites. Due to Murphy's law (or some other universal force), we would always seem to get a bad one on our first visit.
What we started doing was to markup and save a campground map showing which sites were good and which were bad. When we got home, we would file these in case we ever went to that site again. This works great for repeat visits. However, it doesn't correct the problem for the first visit.
So... We got the idea to create a website where campers could rate individual campsites. Now when we go camping, I can see a picture of what the site looks like, and site ratings posted by my fellow campers.
We want to build this into a great community, so please try out the site www.MyCampsiteReviews.com and give me feedback on how we can improve it.
